What is Agnitum?

Agnitum is a PC security software company. It was founded by two students in St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1999. 1 From its beginning, Agnitum has been creating high-quality products that received widespread positive reviews.

Two of Agnitum's first products, Tauscan and Jammer, focused on blocking attacks from hackers. Their later products have been largely based on these initial two successes, and have been updated and developed to meet current technology needs. Agnitum attracts customers from all over the world, offering its website in English, Russian, German, Polish, and Magyar.

Products Offered by Agnitum

Agnitum's focus has shifted mostly to creating personal computer firewalls. It seems that they are known primarily for their home computer firewalls in the U.S. Agnitum currently offers four security packages: Outpost Firewall PRO, Outpost Security Suite PRO, Outpost Antivirus PRO, and Outpost Network Security. Agnitum also offers a product called Spam Terrier, a free download that helps filter spam from your email inbox.
