What is BlogScope?

BlogScope is a search engine and analytical tool for blogs. It's a part of a project by the University of Toronto. Presently, BlogScope is tracking over 49 million blogs. You can search the content of these blogs' posts and view charts showing when your search term was most frequently mentioned in the blogosphere.1 Technorati is a similar project.
