Cookies help your computer help you—they aren't a bad thing in and of themselves, despite what you may have heard. However, having too many cookies stored on your computer can put you at risk. Here's how to view cookies in Opera and then delete any you don't like:
- On the menu bar, click Tools then Preferences...
- Select the "Advanced" tab at the top of the preferences window
- Under "Cookies," you can enable or disable whether your browser accepts cookies. You can also indicate whether you want to keep them until they expire, delete them when your browser closes, or ask you every time you close your browser.
