CNET Review

CNET Editors gave Net Nanny 6.5 four out of five stars.

CNET liked the Content PRotect customizable filtering, the pop-up blocker, the blacklist / whitelist option, and the reporting feature. They tested the program to see if it was easily uninstalled (they couldn't do it) and felt the administrative password did a good job protecting the program. A few banned sits got through during their testing process, however they still felt that overall they felt that NetNanny was a "robust filtering application that should keep surfing clean." 2

Star Reviews

Star Reviews gave NetNanny 6.5 their highest rating. They liked the inexpensive controls that covered a broad range of internet activity (social media, instant messaging, etc.) and the pre-loaded profiles customized for each family member. They weren't so crazy about the fact that if you forget to log off and your child gets to the computer within ten minutes, they can act like an adult user and access unrestricted content. 5 Read the Full Star Review.
